South Dakota 2008.  We had a great time touring around SD with my family.  What a great place to take kids.  They were hardly any crowds, no traffic, and everything was reasonably priced.  The weather was great as well!!

Boulder Short Track Race

Boulder short track, aka, 25 minutes of suffering in the heat and dust.  Sounds like fun!!!  It is... once it is over.

June 28, 2008. Winter Park Super Loop Race

We spent the weekend in Winter Park participating in the Super Loop race.  The course was 18 miles long with 2600ft of climbing.  Congratulations to Ashley Hudson for completing her first Colorado mountain bike race.  It was a doozy. 

Jack brought his bike as well and spent the day riding around, playing with friends, jumping on the trampoline, and riding the alpine slide.

A perfect Colorado day.  The Aspen groves were amazing and Jack was very taken with all the wildflowers.

Wildflower Rush - Crested Butte MTB Race

We had a great time racing in Crested Butte.  The course was fast and fun.

Whew!!!  I feel good.  I only had to do two laps!!!

Crested Butte, June 20 2008

Mt. Crested Butte.  We were joined by both sets of grandparents for a lovely long weekend in Crested Butte.  Doug and I raced on Saturday and while we were racing my dad hiked to the saddle.  Way to go Papa!!!
